Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Verdict Ready (“the platform”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of the service

Verdict Ready is an AI-assisted legal intake and triage tool. It helps individuals organize information about their legal situation and prepare for consultations with licensed attorneys. Verdict Ready is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this platform creates an attorney-client relationship.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its data
Harass, threaten, or harm other users or attorneys on the platform
Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission
Use the platform to solicit or advertise services outside the platform
Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights

5. AI-generated content

Summaries, classifications, and recommendations are generated by AI and are provided for organizational and informational purposes only. They may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should not rely on AI-generated output as legal advice or as a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of AI-generated content.

6. Attorney subscriptions

Attorneys and paralegals may subscribe to receive matched prospect leads. By subscribing:

You represent that you are a licensed legal professional in good standing
You agree to handle prospect information in accordance with applicable bar rules and ethics obligations
Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law
We reserve the right to remove your listing for violations of these Terms

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the information you submit. By submitting information, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and use it solely to operate the platform. The platform, its design, code, and AI models are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERDICT READY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verdict Ready and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page, subject to our 30-day data retention policy described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
